Job summary

Babcock International is recruiting a Training Analyst Designer for Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth. The role focuses on building workforce capabilities within defence, conducting training needs analysis and contributing to the design of learning solutions that ensure safe and competent performance in complex engineering settings.

Part of the People Capability Enhancement Programme, the position requires collaboration with experts, creating competency profiles and training interventions,

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex engineering, technical, education, or training environment.
• Strong information technology skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrable experience analysing business, technical, or learning requirements.
• Understanding of training compliance requirements and regulated working environments.
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and interpret requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the initial design activities within the Systems Approach to Training process.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyse capability and competency requirements.
• Identify learning needs and recommending effective training interventions for current and future workforce requirements.
• Develop competency profiles and training solutions that drive performance and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workforce capability and training effectiveness.
