Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking an onsite Carpenter at Leavesden Studio to maintain, repair, renovate and install interior and exterior carpentry across the site.

You will work to keep our world-class facilities running smoothly, with duties spanning from planned maintenance to reactive tasks. The role requires hands-on carpentry skills, adherence to H&S standards, and the ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.

Qualifications

• Use and maintenance of hand tools and job-specific equipment.
• Use and maintenance of site plant equipment such as MEWPS.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations and safety standards.
• Familiarity with maintenance requirements and on-site equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks promptly.
• Monitor health and safety compliance, PPE usage per policy.
• Maintain site assets and ironmongery for continuous operation and compliance.
• Respond to emergencies with temporary or permanent fixes.
• Undertake general maintenance and survey assets, including high areas.
• Assist Lead Carpenter to meet business expectations and ensure compliance with UK law.
• Maintain asset lists and ironmongery data sheets.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
