Job summary

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Carpenter to maintain, repair and install carpentry across the site. You’ll interpret blueprints, use hand tools and MEWPS, and work to high safety standards observed at WBSL.

This 40-hour/week onsite role requires flexibility to cover evenings and weekends, with occasional bank holidays. A full UK driving licence is required to access various site locations and equipment.

Qualifications

• Use and maintenance of hand tools and job-specific equipment.
• Use and maintenance of site plant equipment such as MEWPS.
• Full working knowledge and adherence to H&S standards (training provided).
• Understanding of COSHH regulations.
• Able to interpret maintenance requirements and operate site equipment.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks promptly.
• Monitor Health & Safety compliance, PPE usage as per law and policy.
• Maintain assets and ironmongery for safe operation and compliance.
• Respond to emergencies with temporary or permanent fixes, escalate as needed.
• Undertake general maintenance tasks and inspect assets, including areas at height.
• Support Lead Carpenter to meet business expectations and UK legislation.
• Maintain up-to-date asset lists and data sheets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
