Job summary

RCP Events, a prominent London venue, is seeking an AV Technician to join the busy technical team. The role is full-time, on-site, and involves hands-on support for meetings, conferences, webinars, filming and live events. You will play a key part in delivering professional technical support with a customer-focused approach.

The position is fixed term for 6 months with potential to extend. Salary ranges between £28,925 and £32,102 per annum pro rata, inclusive of a £3,000 technical supplement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Background in video production, live events, technical theatre, creative arts or a similar technical environment.
• Broad knowledge of AV disciplines, including audio, projection, video, IT and lighting.
• A relevant technical or creative arts qualification, or equivalent professional or voluntary experience.
• Experience working in a venue, conference environment, production setting or content creation organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional technical support across meetings, conferences, webinars, filming, editing and live event production.
• Ensure a seamless experience for clients and delegates.
• Support AV systems across boardroom meetings and large-scale conferences.
• Collaborate with the technical team to deliver projects and resolve issues.
