Job summary

Unified Support in London (EC2M) is seeking an AV engineer & event specialist to join on a contract basis to deliver high-quality AV experiences across the London office. You’ll be hands-on with event setup, live support, and teardown for town halls, presentations, social events and client meetings, working with the UC team to troubleshoot in real time.

The role covers event support, meeting room maintenance, inventory, and end-to-end operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with professional AV equipment and systems.
• Familiarity with Cisco video conferencing devices is desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and service-oriented approach.
• Experience supporting events and handling AV installations.

Responsibilities

• Provide event support, setup, operation and breakdown for a range of events.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Maintain meeting rooms and event spaces; conduct regular checks.
• Manage inventory of AV equipment and plan future requirements.
• Assist with technology refresh projects and equipment upgrades.
• Handle RMA processes for faulty gear when required.
