Job summary

SER Limited in Bristol is seeking an Onsite AV Service Engineer to provide hands-on support, preventative maintenance, incident management and reactive support. The role is onsite in Bristol, 08:30-17:30, 6 Month Contract with potential for permanent.

You will work with in-house AV/IT teams, service AV control systems and DSPs, log incidents, and train customers on system operation. Salary £40k-£45k DOE.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Understanding of networking principles.
• Technical knowledge of AV control systems and audio DSPs.
• Knowledge of Extron systems would be a huge plus.
• Excellent fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for AV faults.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance checks.
• Service AV control systems, DSPs, and network faults.
• Log and manage incidents accurately.
• Maintain site asset inventory.
• Assist with commissioning of integrated solutions.
• Deinstall and reinstall AV equipment as needed.
• Assist with technical site surveys.
• Provide customer training on AV system operation.
• Provide reactive AV support across other sites.

Onsite AV Service Engineer

£40,000 - £45,000 Salary (DOE)

Bristol

08:30 - 17:30 | Monday - Friday

6 Month Contract (Potential for permanent role at end of contract)

Role

Providing onsite support, including preventative maintenance, incident management, and reactive support. This role requires a proactive and highly organised individual capable of working independently and collaborating as part of a team.

Duties

• Working alongside in house AV / IT teams serving as the point of escalation for audio visual faults.
• Conduct daily scheduled preventative maintenance checks and document findings.
• In depth servicing of AV control systems, audio DSPs and network faults.
• Log and manage all incidents accurately.
• Maintain site asset inventory.
• Assisting with the commissioning of integrated solutions.
• Deinstallation and reinstallation of AV equipment as needed.
• Assist with technical site surveys.
• Provide customer training on AV system operation.
• Provide reactive AV support across additional sites where required.

What You’ll Need
