Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking an AV Service Engineer to minimize downtime for clients in London and surrounding areas. The role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting audio-visual systems, and providing client training. Overview

Role : AV Service Engineer

Salary : £40,000 - £55,000 (DOE)

Location : London - Home / Field Based

Hours : 08:00 – 17:00 | Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
  • Attend service and preventative maintenance visits to clients throughout London and surrounding areas, minimising downtime for clients within the region.
  • Attend reactive service calls, liaising with clients and resolving their issues quickly and effectively.
  • Carry out pro-active preventative maintenance visits.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting network related issues.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients when on site, keeping them informed of any progress.
  • Provide training and mentorship to Junior Engineers.
  • Troubleshooting control system and DSP issues.
  • Maintaining up to date service documentation.
What You’ll Need
  • Minimum 3 years AV experience with strong experience fault finding and troubleshooting audio visual systems.
  • Understanding of networking principles.
  • Technical knowledge of AV controls, audio DSPs and IPTV systems. Experience with systems such as Crestron, QSYS, Poly, Logitech and Mediastar would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
