Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to join our Onshore Service Team in North England, with progression paths to Maintenance Technician and Troubleshooter levels. You will troubleshoot, maintain and inspect wind farms, primarily onshore, working from a base in the North England region near Wigan.

The role emphasizes electrical/mechanical maintenance, with NVQ level 3/4 or full apprenticeship preferred and training available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical background
• NVQ level 3/4 or full apprenticeship preferred
• Wind industry experience would be advantageous
• Self-motivated with ability to work under tight deadlines
• Technical knowledge working on wind turbines would be preferred
• Experience with MS Office, ATS, FSM, Fluix would be an advantage

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, maintain and inspect wind turbines on customer sites.
• Perform electrical and mechanical scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Be part of the onshore service team covering North England.
