Job summary

EDExams, based in Dinnington/Sheffield, seeks an Operations and Examinations Manager to lead the end-to-end examination lifecycle, ensuring JCQ compliance and secure digital testing. This full-time role reports to the Senior Leadership Team and oversees platform administration, proctoring, and client services.

You will coordinate platform sessions, oversee invigilators, and drive SLAs and quality assurance across complex assessment programmes at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience aligning operations with JCQ requirements and awarding organisation criteria.
• Ability to engage with institutional leaders, awarding organisations, test centres and employers to capture requirements.
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end examination lifecycles in a digital/remote setting.
• Leadership experience with remote invigilators and platform support teams.

Responsibilities

• Hold accountability for end-to-end examination lifecycle across all client accounts on the platform.
• Oversee handover from instructional cohorts to live assessment environments and finalise qualification cycle.
• Consult with clients to capture specifications and access arrangement needs, translating them into platform sessions.
• Onboard client administrators and drive adoption of self-service management tools.
• Manage contracts and SLAs, serving as operational liaison for client leads and centre admins.
• Establish the annual online examination cycle with milestones and KPIs.
• Provide regular compliance, audit, and performance reports to SLT.
