Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is seeking a friendly, caring OneCall Officer to join our 24-hour emergency response service. You will support vulnerable residents to stay safe and independent at home, handling calls, visiting clients, and providing practical wellbeing support.
We offer flexible casual hours, day and night shifts, full training, and ongoing support. A current UK driving licence is required and a vehicle is provided during shifts.

This is a casual position, with work offered on an as-needed basis to support service requirements. You will provide cover during periods of annual leave, sickness absence and increased demand, so flexibility and the ability to work at short notice are important.
As hours are not guaranteed and can vary from week to week, this role is ideal for someone seeking flexible work that fits around other personal or professional commitments.
This role involves both day and night shifts, working 12-hour shifts as part of a rotating rota that supports our 24-hour service operation.
