Enterprise Mobility in Southampton offers a paid One Year Management Placement Programme. As an Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience across customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations in a real business environment.

Based in a retail branch, you’ll develop hard and soft skills from day one, with mentorship and opportunities to progress based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate student; open to all disciplines.
• Must hold a full manual UK or EU driving licence; accommodations available for disabilities.
• No drug or alcohol related offence on driving record within the last five years.
• Limit applications to one location (Southampton).

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: manage reservations, answer enquiries, build rapport with customers.
• Sales & Marketing: connect with local business partners, grow the network and relationships.
• Financial Control & Profitability: understand cost control and interpret profit and loss statements.
• Operations & Logistics: learn fleet management, strategic planning, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

Customer Service: deliver exceptional experiences by confidently handling reservations, resolving enquiries, and building rapport with a diverse range of customers.

Financial Control and Profitability: understand the financial mechanics of a successful business, including cost control and interpreting profit and loss statements.

Operations and Logistics: learn how to manage a fleet, plan strategically, and drive performance.

Qualifications

• We accept applications for our Management Placement and Internship Programme from all undergraduate university students regardless of university attended and subjects being studied. Our assessment is based on how you perform against our competencies and will judge you on that alone.
• You must have a full manual UK or EU driving licence, but we do make accommodations for applicants who don’t drive due to a disability.
• No drug or alcohol related offence on driving record within the last five years is permitted.
