Tradewind Recruitment LTD in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in a West Derby primary school. Roles include daily one-to-one tasks, assisting class teachers and contributing to inclusive learning.

You'll work closely with SENCO and support staff, adapting activities to individual Education Programs, promoting safe and positive behaviours, and delivering tailored interventions. DBS and references required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or similar needs.
• Possess energy and enthusiasm.
• Works well within a team.
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for making a difference in children's lives.
• Previous experience in a school or child-centred setting.

Responsabilités

• One-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs.
• Assist with a child in class under the direction of the teacher, working primarily in a one-to-one capacity to support with designated tasks in both class lessons and play, and outside of the classroom.
• Under the direction of the class teacher support learning activities and work with the individual, assisting in the implementation, and monitoring of progress, of individual education programmes.
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team.
• Implementing consistent routines and tailored intervention plans.
• Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
