Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic 1-1 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Kirkdale, Liverpool. Roles range from part-time to long-term with a daily rate of up to £100 and start ASAP.

You will provide targeted support to a pupil with additional needs, work under the teacher’s guidance, and contribute to an inclusive classroom environment. The ideal candidate has experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour, holds an Enhanced DBS, and can demonstrate

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or similar needs
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure and references where applicable
• Legal right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• One-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs
• Assist with a child in class under the teacher's direction, working primarily one-to-one
• Support learning activities and monitor progress of individual education programmes
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team
• Implement consistent routines and tailored intervention plans
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment
