Job summary

Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking a One to One Science Tutor to plan, implement and deliver a tailored science curriculum for individual students, delivering targeted interventions to raise attainment.

You will work with GCSE-level science support, use standard computer packages, and bring strong communication, time management and organisational skills. Graduate or qualified teacher preferred.

This casual contract offers flexible hours to support the academy's needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate in a related subject or AS/A2 level or be a qualified teacher.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, alongside strong time management and organisational skills.
• Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
• Essential abilities include supporting students with science work up to GCSE level and knowledge of standard computer packages.

Salary (Actual Salary): £17.83 - £35.78 ph
Casual Contract: Hours subject to change based on the needs of the academy
