Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking dedicated Support Workers to help a warm, 80-year-old client in Mere, Wiltshire. You will provide compassionate in-home and community support, enabling independence while managing respiratory care with clinical backing.

Shifts include days 8am–8:30pm and waking nights 8pm–8am on a zero-hours contract. A driving licence and transport access are required due to rural location. Training and ongoing clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care settings preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client home and community.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Support client at home and in community to maintain independence.
• Provide companionship and encourage engagement in activities.
• Manage complex respiratory care needs with clinical guidance from supervisors.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
