Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Clinical Rotational Oncology Pharmacist to support cancer patients across clinics, wards and day-case units. You will join a team of oncology pharmacists delivering pharmaceutical care within MVCC and associated hospitals.

The role involves clinical screening, chemotherapy dose banding and collaboration with nursing and medical staff. Experience in oncology is desirable and pre‑registration trainees are welcome to apply.

• Experience in hospital or community pharmacy is desirable.
• Pre-registration trainees are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Screen prescriptions clinically to promote rational drug therapy.
• Provide pharmaceutical care to cancer patients on clinic, ward and day-case units.
• Support core MVCC services: screen, dispense and check prescriptions; dose banding chemotherapy; manage controlled drugs; support clinical trials.
