Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ Level 3/BTEC in Pharmacy Services and be able to work as an accredited checking technician.
• Experience with clinical trials and pharmaceutical dispensing is preferred or training provided.
• Willing to progress to band 5 competencies and accuracy checking qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe set-up and delivery of clinical trials, including dispensing, checking, storage, accountability, returns, destruction and monitoring visits.
• Provide technical expertise in managing clinical trial medicines, ensuring compliance with GCP, GDP, GMP and research governance.
• Support the Clinical Trials Lead Technician and pharmacist with service delivery, audits, and MHRA regulatory inspections.
