Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior pharmacist to lead pharmacy services for haematology and lymphoma clinical trials. You will provide expert medicines advice, lead protocol evaluation, and work with research teams to ensure safe, compliant trial delivery.

You will also develop trial-related documentation, collaborate across departments, and contribute to service improvements within the Clinical Trials and Pharmacy teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as nominated pharmacy lead for trials in haemato-oncology haematology and lymphoma groups.
• Provide highly complex pharmaceutical advice on CTIMP conduct and assess study requirements with research teams.
• Lead evaluation of study protocols for haematology and lymphoma trials, considering capacity, safety and resources.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, delivering expert medicines advice and shared decision‑making.
• Lead development of complex prescription proformas for new trial regimens in haematology/lymphoma.
• Collaborate with Aseptic Services to develop SOPs, worksheets, and master documents to ensure safe trial delivery.
