Clinical Research Associate, Oncology (North‑West UK)

We are currently seeking an experienced, North‑West UK‑based Clinical Research Associate to join our diverse and dynamic team at ICON Plc. As a key member of our client’s Oncology team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collecting and analysing critical data.

If you are interested in CRA (all levels) positions, we have a Single Sponsor Dedicated role within an exciting Oncology division. This is an established partnership where we’re supplementing a team of Oncology experts in the UK. This role will be based in the North‑West.

Responsibilities
  • Work independently and actively to coordinate all activities for setting up and monitoring a study, completing accurate study status reports and maintaining study documentation.
  • Run sponsor‑generated queries efficiently and take responsibility for study cost efficiency; participate in the preparation and review of study documentation and feasibility studies for new proposals as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, clinical investigators and site staff.
  • Ensure patient safety by ensuring compliance with ICON’s procedures, protocols and regulatory requirements.
Your profile
  • University degree in medicine, science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ICH‑GCP guidelines and the expertise to review and evaluate medical data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Good social skills enabling you to deal with queries in a timely manner.
  • Ability to travel to sites based in the North‑West and possession of a valid driver’s licence.
