Job summary

Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital is seeking a Bank Staff Nurse in Oncology on a flexible, ad hoc basis. This part-time role offers the chance to work within Britain's largest healthcare charity, delivering high standards of oncology care and engaging with chemotherapy and new treatments.

You will be registered with the NMC, bring post‑registration Oncology experience, and hold the SACT qualification, contributing to a compassionate, patient‑centered team environment.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC and able to practice nursing in the UK.
• Experience in Oncology and care of cancer patients.
• SACT qualification or demonstrable relevant chemo/therapy administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service.
• Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments such as immunotherapy.
• Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care.
• Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies.
• Assist consultants during clinics.
• Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies.
• Access all central venous devices.
• Have excellent phlebotomy skills.
