Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, flexible, and detail-oriented education technology professional to join our Customer Onboarding team in the UK, to engage and inspire new and existing customers throughout Europe and the Middle East region.

As an Onboarding Consultant, you will set up customers for immediate success by helping them navigate change management through customer training and consultation, sharing best practices, and facilitating implementation. You will educate our new and existing customer base through compelling and interactive training sessions that inspire them to incorporate our products into their teaching and learning strategies. You will help solve technical problems with empathy and optimism, and identify and mitigate risks associated with the customer’s adoption of our product.

You will be responsible for providing in-depth consulting services, using advanced functional knowledge and product expertise to partner with customers on implementing their Turnitin product suite. This role reports to the Manager of Customer Onboarding and aims to expand Turnitin’s global reach by helping institutions safeguard academic integrity in assessments.

Responsibilities

1. Guide customers through seamless implementation – Manage the onboarding process end-to-end, including change management, integrations, training, and adoption. Respond to customer queries promptly, document relevant information, and maintain database configurations.
2. Educate customers for success – Deliver expert online and in-person training, connect with education professionals, and facilitate change management to support customer outcomes.
3. Solve technical problems – Quickly learn products and integrations, suggest solutions, escalate issues, and identify additional features and training opportunities.
4. Collect and act on feedback – Seek feedback, improve training delivery, and track success plans to mitigate onboarding risks.
5. Understand and act on success metrics – Develop and monitor key success metrics, manage project timelines, and communicate updates effectively.
6. Develop training materials – Continually improve training resources, ensuring alignment with customer needs and brand guidelines.
7. Work as ‘One Team’ – Collaborate across teams, ensure smooth handoffs, and set up other stage-owners for success.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years in onboarding customers at a SaaS or education technology company; experience as instructional designer, educator, or trainer is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Skills & Attributes: Ability to simplify complex ideas, strong customer empathy, excellent organizational skills, tech-savviness, self-motivation, engaging presence, flexibility for global clients, knowledge of onboarding and customer success, and familiarity with educational systems and LMS is highly regarded. Willingness to travel up to 10% for client visits and conferences.
