Job summary

Ground Control is seeking a Project Manager to lead the on-street EV charging programme in London. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, coordinating surveys, designs, permits and installation activities with local authorities, utility providers, and contractors.

This hybrid UK role offers clear responsibility, site visits, progress reviews, and handover documentation, with a supportive team and a pathway to delivering critical charging infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure projects (infrastructure/utilities/EV charging) across full lifecycle from planning to handover.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders including local authorities, utility providers and contractors.
• Proven track record of keeping projects on time, on budget and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple EV infrastructure projects through full lifecycle, ensuring safety, efficiency and on-program delivery.
• Coordinate surveys, designs, permits and installation activities, keeping stakeholders informed at each stage.
• Collaborate with local authorities, utility providers and internal teams to overcome challenges and maintain momentum.
• Review site surveys and design information to identify issues before works begin.
• Monitor programmes, trackers and documentation to ensure milestones and approvals are met.
• Support material ordering and delivery, ensuring visibility of requirements and timelines.
• Carry out site visits, progress reviews and quality inspections, ensuring installations meet standards.
• Manage project close-out activities including commissioning records and handover documentation.
