Qualifications

Job Description:

The opportunity

We are looking for a 2nd Line IT support specialist to join On-site Technology Support (OSTS). We provide services to end users in person within our offices, supporting hardware and software to serve our clients. We engage with customers to raise awareness and help them make the most of available technology.

Your key responsibilities

  • Resolving incidents and requests related to end user software, hardware, mobile technologies, printers
  • Documenting all actions in ServiceNow, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and resolutions; escalating to support groups when necessary
  • Keeping customers informed until resolution
  • Understanding EY Technology and services to identify the best outcomes for customers
  • Managing hardware assets and recording assignments
  • Adhering to EY Information Security policies
  • Supporting conference room technology and AV equipment
  • Assisting with projects, office moves, TechBars, PC builds, and remote support for comms rooms
  • Providing VIP support for key leaders
  • Travel to other EY offices may be required
  • This role requires physical presence in an EY office.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, mobile devices, peripherals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized, able to multitask and meet SLAs

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • 3+ years support experience in a professional services organization
  • Understanding of IP networking concepts
  • Experience with ITIL
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft)
  • ServiceNow or similar tools experience
  • Mac support experience
