Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Field Support Representative (FSR) to support the delivery of military simulation training and provide on-site technical support across advanced training systems. Based from Bovington, Dorset with UK travel, this role requires strong technical ability and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience interacting with users, identifying faults and resolving issues.
• Full UK driving licence and eligibility for SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training on simulation equipment at customer locations.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for instructors and trainees during activities.
• Perform routine maintenance, fault finding, and health checks.
• Provide second/third-line support and escalate issues as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and end users.
• Advise on how systems meet training objectives during exercises.
• Produce post-exercise reports with performance feedback.
• Conduct site visits and assess resources for training delivery.
• Assist with testing, installation, upgrades, and new-site setup.
• Monitor equipment performance and contribute to improvements.
• Mentor and onboard new team members as required.
