Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a MCTS Training Equipment Maintainer in Fareham, Hampshire, onsite with flexible arrangements. The role focuses on keeping training equipment prepared, addressing defects quickly, and supporting the Royal Navy training platforms with modern simulation and TE solutions.

Ideal applicants have strong system administration and troubleshooting skills, experience with Linux/UNIX/Windows environments, and a track record in spares and maintenance management.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring, installing and maintaining training software and systems.
• Working knowledge of SUSE Linux, UNIX and Windows Server administration.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or MCSA desirable.
• Ability to analyse defects and document in logs/analysis tools.
• Experience with spares/logistics and secure maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training equipment to readiness for use.
• Address defects promptly and manage spares inventory.
• Administer TE systems and load software updates.
• Provide rapid, prioritized response to issues to minimise downtime.
• Support two-site team during training operations.
