Job summary

Rullion is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a major engineering project based at Dungeness. This contract role runs for 18 months and is full-time on site, with a 4-day week and no remote working.

You will support the delivery of engineering projects from concept through to commissioning and handover, working with engineers, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively and to the required standards.

Qualifications

• HNC, degree or NQF Level 5/6 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering role within an industrial plant environment.
• Understanding of relevant engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify project requirements and stakeholder needs.
• Contribute to Project Execution Plans, design and commissioning strategies.
• Support project optioneering and develop fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.
• Produce and approve technical specifications.
• Manage detailed design activities.
• Prepare modification proposals and act as a Nominated Responsible Engineer where required.
• Review contractor work instructions, method statements and risk assessments.
• Provide technical supervision of construction, commissioning and decommissioning activities.
• Approve as-built drawings and manage project handover.
• Maintain site configuration control.
