Job summary

CMD Recruitment is seeking a Production Planning Coordinator in Devizes for a busy manufacturing team. This role is office-based, 37 hours per week, on a 9-month FTC, paying £18.00-£19.00 per hour.

You will support production planning, purchasing and sales, maintain ERP data, and help keep work orders and schedules on track. Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, D365, SAGE, Oracle) and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production planning, purchasing, production control or manufacturing administration.
• Experience using an ERP or MRP system (SAP, D365, SAGE, Oracle etc.)
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day production planning function
• Creating, releasing and monitoring works orders
• Maintaining and updating the ERP system
• Managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings and production data
• Producing planning reports and spreadsheets
• Monitoring progress and highlighting delays or issues
• Liaising with Production, Purchasing and other departments to keep work flowing
• Supporting engineering changes and ERP improvements
• Assisting with planning projects, process improvements and system testing
• Helping maintain accurate stock and planning information
