Job summary

Contract Personnel Limited is seeking a organised Supply Chain Production Planning Coordinator to join our on-site team in North Walsham. You will coordinate production planning and supply chain activities to meet customer demand while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

You will work closely with Production, Customer Service, Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient operations, accurate planning and excellent customer service across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, supply chain coordination or a similar manufacturing role.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and production processes.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans using MRP systems to meet customer orders, stock requirements and production targets.
• Optimise plant and machine utilisation, monitoring production performance, cycle times and scrap levels.
• Coordinate new product introductions, production trials, samples and associated documentation.
• Communicate production schedules, delivery commitments and changes to relevant departments.
• Support customer service activities, including order processing, despatch documentation and customer reporting.
• Maintain customer price lists, review invoices and prepare regular capacity, volume and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, ISO and BRC procedures.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
