Job summary

Rehlko is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to run day-to-day operations across our sites, leading Rehlko and subcontractor teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will act as on-site Health & Safety lead, drive quality and compliance, and build strong client and stakeholder relationships on large diesel generator installations.

The role offers diverse, technically complex projects in power generation and M&E, with clear opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction or industrial M&E.
• SMSTS certification essential.
• Ability to read technical drawings and project documentation.
• Strong leadership and client-facing professionalism.
• Experience managing subcontractors and RAMS.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for daily site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, on programme, and within budget
• Lead and manage both Rehlko (WBPS) personnel and subcontractor teams on site
• Act as the primary Health & Safety authority, enforcing safe systems of work and company procedures at all times
• Prepare and approve RAMS, and review and sign off subcontractor RAMS
• Manage Permit to Work and Isolation procedures across all site activities
• Identify, mitigate, and report risks, escalating any significant issues or delays
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Collaborate with the Projects team to plan works and provide progress updates
• Attend Head Office meetings in Derbyshire for handovers and briefings
• Represent the business professionally, promoting safety, quality, and operational excellence
• Carry out pre-start inspections and post-completion checks to ensure quality standards
