Langdale Hotel and Spa is seeking a Maintenance Team member - Painter and Decorator to join our on-site team in Ambleside. The role is full-time, permanent, 39 hours per week, with a salary of £29,000 per annum. Live-in accommodation or relocation support may be available for exceptional candidates.

You will maintain decorative finishes, manage paint stock, and respond to maintenance requests across Langdale’s assets. This on-site role requires attention to safety and guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Carry out general maintenance tasks with high standards and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team, liaising with other departments.

Responsabilités

• Maintain internal and external decorative finishes of estate properties and assets.
• Assist with paint stock management and record keeping.
• Inspect decorative finishes and respond to job cards as allocated.
• Ensure safe use of tools and equipment; follow health & safety policy.
• Support fire safety procedures and weekly fire alarm tests.
