Job summary

Hillier Nurseries in Ampfield, Romsey, is seeking a customer service focused individual for an on-site role at our Head Office. You will handle enquiries for the Online Shop and Gardening Club, maintain records, and help deliver a first-class customer experience.

With 37.5 hours a week, Monday–Friday 8:30–17:00, the role offers a full-time salary of £25,759.50 per annum, with part-time pro-rata options. You'll join a friendly, established horticultural family business backed by over 150 years of

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Confident communicating with a wide range of people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Friendly and professional phone manner.
• Interest in horticulture preferred.
• Knowledge of social media platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries relating to the Hillier Online Shop, garden furniture orders and Gardening Club membership.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the Hillier Customer Database.
• Communicate with customers via email, phone and social media.
• Monitor and respond to Feefo and Google service and product reviews.
• Work confidently across EPOS systems, including Tableau.
• Deliver a first-class customer experience.
