Job summary

EDF Energy Limited in Somerset is seeking a Procurement Supply Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for the HPC Project on-site, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, manage tenders, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and subcontractors.

The role requires proven project experience, knowledge of procurement systems and NEC forms, plus strong negotiation and budgeting skills. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a project role.
• Knowledge of procurement systems.
• Knowledge of NEC forms – beneficial.
• Knowledge of plant, equipment management and purchasing.
• Senior client engagement.
• Change management & continuous improvement.
• People management skills.
• Qualifications demonstrating high level of literacy and numeracy.
• Membership of CIPS.
• CCNSG or CSCS MAPS.

Responsibilities

• Work within a cross-functional integrated team to purchase all goods and services required to deliver the HPC Project in Somerset.
• Complete Tender Life Cycle - define business requirements, contracts formation, engage supply chain and tender stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and drive negotiation results.
• Establish procurement strategy and budgets aligned to packages.
• Act as single point of contact for procurement activities and lead engagements.
• Ensure tendering process is compliant with statutory and business requirements.
