Job summary

BJF Group is recruiting a MultiSkilled Engineer to join the Project Services Team, delivering trade-related solutions across prisons and universities. This on-site position is based in Luton and involves reactive work, planned maintenance, and ensuring safe, quality finishes on multiple estates.

You will hold an ECS/CSCS card and City & Guilds or an equivalent qualification. The role requires adherence to safety standards and successful security clearance prior to start.

Qualifications

• ECS or CSCS card is required.
• City & Guilds or other accredited qualification in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive calls, carrying out first fix where possible and scoping quotes for repair where first fix is not possible to ensure minimum downtime across sites.
• Carry out all planned building/fabrication maintenance tasks as per program, keeping accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.
• Ensuring the site is kept in good decorative order internally and externally, in line with given specification.
• Establishing strong working relationships to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and projects.
• To always work in a safe manner and to a high standard, in line with best working practices.
