Job summary

Axon Moore is recruiting a Metering Data Analyst in Bury to join a well-established energy supplier. The role focuses on maintaining accurate metering data, investigating discrepancies, and resolving issues efficiently.

You will work within a dedicated metering team, handling data accuracy, AMR readings, and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers and third parties. Energy sector experience is a plus, but strong data backgrounds are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Manage meter and AMR installations, exchanges, and data flows.
• Ensure metering data is accurate across systems.
• Source and manage MAM appointments and updates.
• Investigate and resolve metering data discrepancies.
• Manage meter reading rejections and ensure timely resolution.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and third parties to resolve queries.
• Support AMR and smart meter rollout initiatives.
• Ensure readings are submitted within required timeframes.
• Process industry file flows to maintain data accuracy.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports.
• Identify potential improvements and maintain stakeholder relationships.
