Randstad CPE is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a static site in Oxford. The role sits in the facilities sector with strong progression and training opportunities. The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds / NVQ mechanically qualified, has commercial building services experience, and can work effectively in a team. DBS check and UK eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanically qualified with relevant certificate.
• Experience in a commercial building/services environment.
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures.
• DBS check ability or clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and report findings.
• Perform reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and document work.
• On-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.
• Oversee visiting sub-contractors and health & safety standards.
• Follow company policies and complete related paperwork.
• Complete daily PPM and reactive tasks including UPS, plumbing, boilers, cooling towers, AHU/fans, and pumps.
