An established facilities management company is seeking a Level 1 Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a static site in Oxford. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £36,000 and excellent opportunities for training and progression. Responsibilities include Planned Preventative Maintenance, emergency repairs, and overseeing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
City & Guilds / NVQ Mechanically Qualified (or equivalent).
Experience in a commercial environment.
Must be able to pass a DBS check.
Responsibilities
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete necessary paperwork.
Handle Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks.
Oversee visiting sub-contractors regarding work standards.
Complete documentation accurately and on time.
Perform daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks.
