Job summary

An established facilities management company is seeking a Level 1 Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a static site in Oxford. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £36,000 and excellent opportunities for training and progression. The ideal candidate will have relevant mechanical qualifications, experience in a commercial setting, and the ability to work well within a team. Responsibilities include Planned Preventative Maintenance, emergency repairs, and overseeing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ Mechanically Qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience in a commercial environment.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete necessary paperwork.
• Handle Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks.
• Oversee visiting sub-contractors regarding work standards.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks.
