Job summary

ABM is seeking an on-site HVAC/mechanical engineer to service and repair plumbing and HVAC equipment across multiple sites. You will manage workloads, prepare quotations over £500, and complete on-site documentation for smooth invoicing.

The role requires trade competence in mechanical and electrical works, NVQ levels 2–3 in Plumbing, L8, IPAF/PASMA, and SFG20 familiarity. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, reporting, and compliance with safety and site

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical competency across general maintenance.
• SFG20 knowledge and ability to plan works to timescales.
• Gas equipment maintenance and safe servicing practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and reactive repair to plumbing accessories per regulations.
• Quoted remedial work over £500 and weekly timesheets.
• Complete paperwork on site and obtain signatures for invoicing.
• Produce technical/reject reports for failed components.
• Health and safety on site in line with method statements and risk assessments.
• Commission and service HVAC equipment and coordinate with contracts staff.
