Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd in Leicester is inviting applications for a Resident Engineer to service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites.

You will work on electric trucks, forklifts, IC and automated trucks, troubleshoot faults, perform preventative maintenance, complete paperwork, and attend ongoing training. NVQ Level 3 is essential; there is an attractive salary up to £42k with OTE £42k in first year and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential.
• Experience as FLT Engineer or Vehicle Technician is considered.
• Technical experience in engines, electrics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults on a range of equipment from pallet trucks to IC and automated trucks.
• Complete required paperwork and attend regular training to maintain knowledge.
• Provide safe, reliable servicing and contribute to the company’s reputation.
