Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Material Coordinator for the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset. This on-site role coordinates material flow between engineering, warehouse, logistics and construction teams, supporting major construction activities.

The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, with standard hours Monday-Thursday and Friday morning, on-site at Hinkley Point C. Applicants must meet CSCS and safety qualification requirements and be eligible for BPSS security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience working in warehouse operations, logistics or material management.
• Strong administrative skills with accurate records and data reporting.
• Experience supporting quality-driven processes and managing asset or material information.
• Proficiency in Excel for reporting and data management.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating material requests and movements across construction, warehouse, and logistics teams.
• Maintaining accurate material, inventory, and asset management records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Producing reports and data analysis using Microsoft Excel to support planning and KPI tracking.
• Attending coordination meetings and communicating material status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, safety, and material flow.
