Job summary

Gi Group Ireland Limited are recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to join a busy on-site team in Oxford, on a permanent basis. You will own day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of fire safety, asbestos awareness and water hygiene compliance.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing or building services.
• Experience with PPM schedules and reactive maintenance processes.
• Understanding of statutory compliance relevant to the role.
• Ability to supervise works with high quality and safety standards.
• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Plumbing or Electrical is essential.

Responsibilities

• Allocate tasks, materials and subcontractors to control costs.
• Monitor service delivery to minimise rework and downtime.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and safe systems of work are in place and followed.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance teams and contractors to deliver works efficiently.
• Motivate the team, manage performance and deliver against KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and enhance customer experience.
• Identify recurring issues and implement process improvements.
• Support rollout of new systems, procedures and ways of working.
