Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Site based Maintenance Plumber in Birmingham to join a leading national facilities management organisation in the healthcare sector. You will diagnose, repair and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures to ensure optimal functionality and client satisfaction.

This role offers a competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum, an on-call rota (to be confirmed), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, and opportunities for training,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Experience as Maintenance Plumber in facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, materials.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify leaks, clogs, and other issues promptly.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to proactively address potential breakdowns and extend the lifespan of plumbing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, including leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes.
• Conduct installations, replacements, and upgrades of plumbing fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and external contractors to coordinate repairs and renovations seamlessly.
• Uphold stringent safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment for all.
