CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a site-based Maintenance Plumber in Birmingham for a National Facilities Management Organisation within the Healthcare sector. You will diagnose, repair and maintain plumbing systems, working 4 on, 4 off with a mix of day and night shifts in a site-based role.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum (with a £3,000 shift allowance), plus 25 days’ leave, a pension, and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualificações

• Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Proven track record as a Maintenance Plumber or similar in FM sector.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures and materials with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify leaks, clogs and other issues promptly.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to proactively address potential breakdowns.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, including leaks and blockages.
• Conduct installations, replacements and upgrades of plumbing fixtures.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and external contractors to coordinate repairs.
• Uphold safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.

Site based Maintenance Plumber - Birmingham - National Facilities Management Organisation: Healthcare

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently seeking skilled Maintenance Plumber who have a solid background in plumbing maintenance within the facilities management industry to join a leading national facilities management organisation within the healthcare sector. Your role will involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures to uphold optimal functionality and exceed client expectations.

Shift Position – 4 on, 4 off rotating shift pattern consisting of 2 x 7:00am - 7:00pm day shifts, followed by 2 x 7:00pm - 7:00am night shifts, followed by 4 days off

This is a site based opportunity located in Birmingham.

Package:

• Competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience), including a £3,000 shift allowance
• Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)

Responsibilities:

• Utilise your expertise to diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, including leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes
• Conduct installations, replacements, and upgrades of plumbing fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate closely with other maintenance personnel and external contractors to coordinate repairs and renovations seamlessly
• Uphold stringent safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment for all

Qualifications:

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
• Proven track record as a Maintenance Plumber or similar role within the facilities management sector
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials, coupled with strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
