CA Tech Talent seeks a Maintenance Engineer for a temporary, on-site role in Devon & Somerset. You will carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site services, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, service pneumatics and hydraulics, read schematics, and collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance around operations. Strong safety awareness is essential.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering, or time-served apprenticeship.
• Experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing/industrial environments is desirable.
• Reading and understanding technical drawings/schematics and safety-conscious working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery, plant and building services.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Fault-find on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems.
