Job summary

Levy is hiring a Location Accountant to work across Nottingham and Market Rasen Racecourses, joining Jockey Club Experiences, the premium hospitality partner delivering Legendary Experiences at UK racecourses.

This hands-on finance role goes beyond traditional accounting, with on-site involvement on race days and events, P&L support, budgeting, forecasts and reporting, and close collaboration with venue teams to drive commercial success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required; able to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for handling large data sets and forecasting.
• Good financial and commercial acumen with a business partner mindset.
• Experience in financial roles; hospitality background is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Be the key commercial resource on-site on race days and key events ensuring tills, PDQs are tech and processes are working
• Preparing information for accurate P&L pre and post events including profiling, attendance and SPH assumptions
• Assisting in the weekly, monthly and rolling forecasts and annual budgeting/forecasting process
• Ensuring completion of financial statements
• Compiling, creating and reviewing budgets, forecasts and providing analysis surrounding contract performance
• Attending regular reviews, acting as a business partner in reporting and management information
• Working closely with General Manager and Heads of Departments to ensure awareness of financial drivers
• Assisting in improving Working Capital including debt management, stock & cash control
• Clear and concise internal reporting and preparation for business reviews
• Be the proactive link between venue and head office teams to ensure month end and general finance processes are working as required
