Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Land Terminals Maintenance Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and repair remote satellite ground terminals that support critical defence operations. You will work across electrical, mechanical, RF and software domains to keep equipment available and ready for action.

Based at Hawthorn near Corsham, Wiltshire, this full‑time role (37 hours weekly) offers on‑site work with standard hours 8:00–16:00 and flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and software domains.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair remote satellite land terminals.
• Test and repair RF equipment and baseband systems.
• Respond to service calls and resolve issues within SLAs.
• Build strong relationships with customers during on-site visits and support calls.
