Babcock is seeking a Land Terminals Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair remote satellite ground terminals supporting defence and security operations. The role is based on-site at Hawthorn, near Corsham, Wiltshire, with standard hours from 8:00 to 16:00 and flexible arrangements.

You will work across electrical, mechanical, RF and software domains, ensuring equipment availability and rapid fault resolution while delivering high-quality customer support.

Qualificações

• Maintenance and repair of remote satellite land terminals.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Security clearance and UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance and inspection of small remote satellite land terminals.
• Electrical safety inspections and testing in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and related regulations.
• Test and repair RF equipment and baseband software and perform diagnostics.
• Undertake general equipment repairs across the site.
• Respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and represent the organisation on site.
