Job summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for on-site duties in Cheltenham/Gloucester. You will manage mission-critical, secure environments in the National Security space, driving automation to reduce human error and ensure platform stability.

The role spans mid to lead levels, with a strong focus on ITIL4 practices, incident resolution, and proactive monitoring to support customers and stakeholders in a high-security setting.

Qualifications

• Active Enhanced DV clearance is mandatory.
• Experience delivering secure IT operations within national security space.
• Ability to implement automation and ITIL4-aligned operations.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational support, incident resolution, change implementation, and maintenance for stable environments.
• Implementing approved technical requests and automation to improve productivity.
• Developing and implementing improvements to operational and reference platform environments.
• Producing clear and concise technical documentation and supporting risk management.
• Proactive monitoring and stakeholder management, including service reporting and reviews.
• Embracing ITIL4 practices for agile platform operation delivery and operations.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and internal standards.
