Job summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical, secure UK infrastructure in Cheltenham/Gloucester. This role focuses on proactive management, automation, and continuous improvement of platform operations within the National Security space.

You will implement automation, maintain stable environments, and collaborate with the Tech Lead to manage risk and compliance. On-site requirements and DV clearance are essential for this high-impact position.

Qualifications

• Active Enhanced DV Clearance is required.
• Experience in mission-critical secure environments is preferred.
• On-site in Cheltenham/Gloucester with UK-wide travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support including incident resolution and change implementation.
• Automate platform tasks to reduce human error and improve efficiency.
• Develop and improve operational and reference platform environments.
• Produce clear technical documentation and assist the Tech Lead with risk management.
• Conduct proactive monitoring and stakeholder relationship management.
• Apply ITIL4 practices to agile platform operation delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
