Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is partnering with an established chemical-industry organisation to recruit a capable HR & Payroll Coordinator for their site in Buckley, North Wales. The role focuses on end-to-end payroll alongside HR administration in a busy, detail-driven environment.

The successful candidate will manage payroll cycles, maintain confidential records, coordinate onboarding, support recruitment and handle routine HR queries.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration and end-to-end payroll.
• Strong organisational, numerical and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payrolls, including starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, pensions, holiday pay and statutory payments.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, preparing contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding, inductions, pre-employment checks and occupational health arrangements.
• Support recruitment activities, including job advertising, interview coordination and candidate communication.
• Act as a first point of contact for routine HR and payroll queries.
• Assist with absence management, employee relations processes and HR meetings.
• Support payroll reporting and provide occasional reception cover as required.
