Job summary

Avantor ACE Analytical Chromatography in the United Kingdom seeks a maintenance technician to perform routine and reactive service on HPLC and UHPLC systems across Manufacturing and R&D laboratories, ensuring instruments stay within specification and are compliant with ISO 9001 requirements.

You will plan and execute preventive maintenance on a wide range of equipment, maintain accurate service records, and support calibration activities, asset management and safety procedures in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years repairing laboratory equipment, esp. HPLC instruments.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and calibration documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own routine and reactive maintenance of HPLC/UHPLC systems across labs.
• Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance for lab equipment including fume hoods and ovens.
• Maintain accurate service records and support IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
• Develop troubleshooting guides and support instrument calibration documentation.
